I later then learned on the color theory in class as our new topic. I would like to discuss more about analogous colors. The reason why I liked this a lot is because it's pretty easy for me to use and learn in my visual art class. Basically, it's when the colors are adjacent to each other on the color wheel, and doesn't compete with each other. Together, they create harmony and a really nice smooth blending I believe. The warm go with the warm, and the cool goes with the cool. For example, some of the three analogous colors would be red, red orange, and orange. They move to a new color smoothly, not rough. It often happens and can be seen in nature, like in the four seasons when the leaves gradually change color from either red to green. In game design and some other purposes, your eye is the guide to choose a good focal color, so that it creates contrast and and make things a little more interesting.
