We've been viewing basic principles in class for about a couple of weeks. We went over Photoshop because it is work done digitally. Since I'm terrible at the beginning, new tools were introduced to create and design cool illustrations digitally, this helps me understand how to do art on digital. We went over various principles, such as rhythm and balance. The one that made me reacted the most was emphasis. Emphasis is when you take your photos and make it more pleasing or to stand out even better. Here's why I admired this. Emphasis gives you this sense of value and contrast. Together this makes a focal point, which is the area that gives you the attention. All of this is the simplest to me. It's like shading and lighting, but with no pencil or pen! It's really important to have this in your story, so that your audience would know what's going on. You will need it on characters, vehicles, even more! If you don't have this otherwise, then your result will be very dull. Be careful!

Alright, storyboarding. This was my most favorite thing to do, draw on it! We went over this weeks ago, and I still love it. It's a sequence of drawings, which include characters, directions, dialogue, and crazy actions, depending on the genre. All of this is discussed in our class for an important reason. They play as your plan and prototype for development later on in productions. you've seen & read these in comic books and strips, and they're almost everywhere. A storyboard begins with rough sketches, then a theme or setting, and finally a script. All of this doesn't require perfection or details. When it comes to make your character in 3D for this class, you're going to need this. It matters and determine the result of your character's creation in the final production. Your character cannot be created into reality if you miss this step for this class. After all, it's an important tool for your character's development.
